NEW LIFE BEGINS – WE, YOUR MIDWIVES IN POTSDAM, WILL ACCOMPANY YOU!
You start a family or your family expands. Many expectant parents are now concerned with the question of where and how their child will be born. A birth is a special experience for everyone. We – the midwives at St. Josefs Hospital in Potsdam – are at your side with our sensitive and individual but also expert support and support. Our delivery rooms offer a personal atmosphere and space for free movement. As experienced midwives, we support you in your active role and offer the framework for an individual and largely self-determined birth. As a team of freelance midwives, we work 12-hour shifts with additional on-call duty. The delivery room doctors and the pediatric nurses, midwives and nurses in the postpartum ward support us in this.

“My name is Kristin Organischak. In 1998, I moved from Halle/Saale to Potsdam to work as a midwife at St. Josefs Hospital. What I love about being a midwife is the combination of anticipation, excitement, and calmness surrounding birth, the intense encounters, and the sense of connection with families during these powerful moments — moments that can also include grief.

Are you pregnant and would like to give birth at St. Josefs Hospital Potsdam?› Then feel free to book an appointment online for a preliminary discussion with us. Choose a date between your 35th and 38th week of pregnancy. The preliminary consultation at this point in your pregnancy allows us to record all important data for the birth.
